Nothing is more charming than The Charm City... and nothing is better than happy hour! There are three things that come to mind when I think of Baltimore - 1) my lovely sister who lives down there with her boyfriend, 2) waterfront views and 3) grapefruit crushes! So with that, I have compiled a list of some of our favorite places to sit by the water and drink up! Cheers!
Located on the Baltimore waterfront in Federal Hill, Little Havana is exactly like what it sounds - a little version of Cuba right in the heart of the city. The bar features indoor and outdoor seating in a casual setting with Cuban-inspired menu options. They also have happy hour discounted drinks from 4-7pm on weekdays, or come here on Sunday for their dinner special: paella for 2 and a pitcher of sangria for $33!
Tiki Barge is a floating tiki bar with amazing views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. On a hot summer day, you will feel like you are on a tropical island. Be sure to grab a signature grapefruit crush for only $5 until 6pm on weekdays. You won't be disappointed! *Note: their pool is member-only, but the bar is open to the public.
The Boathouse & Dockbar
Located in the Canton section of Baltimore, this contemporary seafood restaurant and bar features outdoor seating with waterfront views. Come here to watch the boats pass or people watch as people jog and walk their dogs along the promenade. Their happy hour is offered on weekdays from 3-7pm, and features $6 crushes in 4 varieties (orange, grapefruit, winter and pineapple), $4 draft beers, buck a shuck oysters and more!
Nick's Fish House
Casual, dock bar and crab deck under the Hanover Bridge in Baltimore. Their happy hour specials include $3 domestics, $1 off wine and drafts, $5 shots, and various $7 seafood specials like crab balls and chili lime mussels -- or if you're feeling like going all in, go for the bucket of steamed crabs. If you're not feeling the happy hour, come here Friday night for live music and whole lot of fun on the deck!
