Apartment Style, Part 1: Bedroom Makeover

About a month ago I moved into my new place in Philadelphia!  I live in a row home (or "townhouse" as some call it) with two of my friends, and we each have our own bedroom.  The place itself is very old and outdated and needed a bit of a makeover.  I knew I wanted to spruce my bedroom, but wanted to keep it reasonable and not break the bank.  Every other place I've lived, my room was too small for a desk space, so that was my number 1 priority.  Especially since I picked up blogging about a year and a half ago, I need a "blog space" to get my work done.  I started searching online for affordable deals even before moving in and was siked when I found the desk on sale at Target and the rug on sale at Overstock!  I ordered them both immediately! The rest of the items I gradually pulled together by picking up things at Target, Ikea, and TJ Maxx. Below I provided links to all of the exact items.
