And just like that, another year passes. Why does time go so much quicker when you’re older?! It feels like 2018 just started and here we are at the start of another year. And of course, with the start of the year comes the pressure to make new years resolutions. I actually really enjoy making new years resolutions because it gives an opportunity to reflect on the year before and focus on what you can do better. This year I’ve changed it up and instead of saying what I want to or hope to do in 2019... I’ve compiled a list of what I will do in 2019. Saying I will makes me feel more committed and now I owe it to myself to get it done... so here we go:
In 2019, I will...
Make time for things I genuinely enjoy.
Talk less and listen more.
Stop worrying about things I can’t change.
Cook dinner and save leftovers for lunch.
Get 8 hours of sleep, no more no less.
Make better use of time by staying focused and procrastinating less.
Start and end each day with something positive to say.
Stop buying things I don’t need.
And last but not least,
Be patient with myself & know that I’m doing the best I can.
