How I Made $200 Just Cleaning Out My Closet

My Nana has always said whenever you buy something new, you should get rid of 10 things sitting in your closet. If I come home after a shopping spree, she’ll say, “Well, what are you getting rid of?!” I can’t say I live by this rule all the time haha I definitely am guilty of buying more than I get rid of, however I am pretty good about cleaning out from time to time. My rule of thumb is that if I haven’t worn it yet this season, then I likely won’t… so it’s time to say goodbye!

What I Wish I Knew Before Becoming a MOH

As soon as my sister got engaged, I knew at some point she would ask me to be her Maid of Honor.  My sister and I have always been close and it was a no-brainer that she'd want me beside her for this very exciting time!  As much of an honor it was to have this opportunity, I had no idea what I was getting myself into considering this was my very first time being in a wedding, let alone being a MOH.  Luckily, my sister also chose her best friend as the Matron of Honor so I had someone to fall back on and learn the ropes from! (Thank you, Laura!!)

Summer Reading List

As much as I love a good romantic novel or a book that provides comic relief, I absolutely love reading mystery thrillers. Here are I’ve rounded up 5 mystery thrillers that I’ve read recently that I could not put down! Headed to the beach or hanging by the pool? These page-turners will have you hooked!

Best Breweries in Philly

After living in Charlotte and Denver, both craft brewery hubs, I came back to Philly in high hopes for that cool, brewery vibe. I mean can you think of a better way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon other than stopping by a brewery for some craft beers and good company?! I was happy to find out that Philly is actually ramping up their brewery scene.  Here are some places I’ve been that you should definitely check out… Cheers!

Favorite BYOBs in Philly

If you’re from Philly, you might be aware of the fact that many restaurants in the city consider themselves BYOB— meaning they don’t serve alcohol, so they encourage that you bring your own bottle of wine or beer. At first, I thought the concept was a little weird, but quickly got onboard because it is such an affordable way to dine out! If you can save on the drinks, then more money to spend on the meal, right?! At least that’s what the restaurant is banking on. Here I’m going to share some of my favorite BYOBs in Philadelphia by cuisine.
